Prospective Students
In order to be admitted to Sta. Ana National High School, prospective students must meet the official enrollment requirements set by the Department of Education and the school administration. As of now, the general admission requirements are as follows:
1. New Students (Grade 7 or Transferee)
- Enrollment Form
- Report Card (from previous school)
- Birth Certificate (photocopy)
2. Returning Student (Grades 8 - 10)
- Enrollment Form
- Report Card (from last school year)
Enrollment Process
Welcome to Sta. Ana National High School!
If you’re a new student or a returning one, you’re about to use our super cool digital enrollment system called SMART SANHS (Student Management and Admission Resource Tool of Sta. Ana National High School). It’s like a magic online helper that makes enrolling fast, easy, and paperless! Let me walk you through exactly what happens from the moment you arrive until you get your shiny new ID card – just like telling a story. Ready? Let’s go!
Step 1: Come to School with Your Documents
Go to the Enrollment Area (usually the assigned classrooms). There will be teachers with laptops and big signs saying “SMART SANHS ENROLLMENT”.
WHAT HAPPENS HERE?
- A teacher will check your papers one by one.
- They’ll look at your Enrollment Form, Report Card, and Birth Certificate (only for new students).
- They’ll stamp “VALIDATED” on your form.
Note: You may download and fill out the Enrollment Form ahead of time using the links below. Printed forms are also available at the Enrollment Area during the enrollment period.
Step 2: The Teacher Types Your Info into SMART SANHS
After your papers are validated, you’ll sit with a teacher at a computer. The teacher opens the SMART SANHS website – it’s a special web app made just for our school.
WHAT THE TEACHER DOES:
- Logs in with their school username and password.
- Clicks “New Enrollment”.
- Types in your info from the validated Enrollment Form:
- Full name
- LRN (Learner Reference Number)
- Birthday
- Address
- Parents’ names
- Grade level
- Special info (like if you’re 4Ps, IP, or have a disability – this helps the school support you!)
STEP 3: Smile! Take Your Photo with the Webcam
(This is the fun part – say “CHEESE!”) Right after your info is saved, the teacher says: “Okay, look at the camera and smile!”
WHAT HAPPENS HERE?
- A webcam (small camera on top of the computer) turns on.
- You see yourself on the screen – like a selfie!
- The teacher clicks “Capture”.
- The system says: “Photo saved! Enrollment complete!”
Note: No need to bring a 1x1 photo anymore! The webcam takes it for free, and it goes straight into your digital record.
You’re Officially Enrolled!
(But wait – there’s one more cool thing…) Once Step 3 is done:
- Your name is now in the official school database.
- You’re assigned to a section (like 7-A, 8-B, etc.).
- The system automatically creates your ID card in the background.
You can go home now!
STEP 4: Get Your ID Card
The school prints all ID cards in batches using a special printer.
Each ID has:
- Your photo (from the webcam)
- Your full name
- Your grade & section
- Your LRN
WHEN TO GET IT?
- Within a few days to 2 weeks after enrollment.
- Your class adviser will call you or post a schedule.
NOTE: KEEP YOUR ID SAFE! YOU’LL USE IT EVERY DAY AT SCHOOL.
